OPI Eurso Euro!
Here’s just a simple swatch of OPI’s Eurso Euro, a royal blue/indigo crelly. It’s the PERFECT deeper blue that doesn’t lean on the teal side, but depending on your skin tone, it might lean a bit purple. On the nails, it looks more like a true cream after you apply it. This was two coats.
The formula on this is kind of thick and bubbles easily when you first buy it, but a couple drops of thinner easily corrects this.

Simple mint mani!
Sorry for being inactive for so long! I guess I’ve just been caught up with life as school’s about to start. LOL
Anyways, here’s just a simple mint mani with glitter and studs! the base mint color is Essie’s Mint Candy Apple. It was a bit darker and brigther than I had initially expected, so I just put a coat of Essie Waltz over the top to tone it down a shade. Even though it self-levels, I would recommend trying to apply it evenly, just to prevent streaking.
The glitter is Essie Beyond Cozy.
I feel like this mani is like kinda basic and overdone, but it’s still so cute! LOL.

Tribal Prints inspired by @theillustratednail!
Sadly, my tribals will never be as intricate and clean as their’s :’(
Omg, these took so. long. to. do. But the end result is kind of different and worth it, I think.
The blue on index and pinky fingers is the lovely OCC Pool Boy. ♥ I didn’t actually end up incorporating that blue into the actual tribal design for some reason, though. LOL
Colors used: Essie In the Cab-Ana, Come Here!, Sally Hansen Black out, White On, and Mint Sorbet.
I would say just to be patient with tribal art because you’ll have to keep going over the lines again and again. Also, wait a while before you put on topcoat, so your hard work doesn’t smear!

Exotic florals!
The thought of mixing florals and leopard print never crossed my mind, but I’m really liking the look of them because they give off such exotic vibes! I seriously feel like I have the Amazon rainforest on my nails or something LOL. This design was actually inspired by a Victoria’s Secret bra that I saw while shopping with my mom LOL. (and omg, I think the bra would look stunning on a tan or dark skinned girl. *-*)
I used a lot of polishes for this mani haha. The black base is the only black polish in my collection - Sally Hansen Black Out. The florals were mainly drawn with Essie Fiji and OPI Pink Friday, while the leaves were mainly drawn with frankens of Essie First Timer. The stigmas of the flowers were drawn with Revlon Buttercup.
The nude base of the leopard print accent is OPI Don’t Pretzel My Buttons. The spots were mixed from a variety of different polishes of brown, and then outlined with OPI Wooden Shoe Like To Know.
The gold accent is Sally Hansen Golden-I topped off with Sephora by OPI Only Gold For Me. The more I use the SOPI glitter top coat, the more I fall in love with it. I think the formula works much better, now that it’s a bit thicker since I use it so much LOL.

Rolling Stones Nails!
I’ve really been liking the look of the logo lately (it’s one of the most iconic logos ever created, I think! c:) so I decided to do some nail art with it!
The red base is the wonderful Essie Fishnet Stockings (the best red I have tried!) and the bottle I’m holding is Essie Wicked.
The logo is a DIY decal that was surprisingly simple to do!
When I first attempted this mani, I was freehanding the logo, buuuuttttttt that wasn’t working out so I decided to print out an outline of the logo and color it in with polish. To do that, I just found an image for the outline and copied it into Microsoft Word. I wasn’t sure what the sizing would be like so I scaled the page up to 100% and made a few different sizes that I thought would be suitable for my nail size and printed them out.
I think the one I ended up choosing was a little bit too big but it still fit on the nail. I would recommend trying to cut it in the exact shape of your nail bed, so you won’t have to pile up polish to try and make it blend in, like I had to. ;-;
To prep for the decal, I just put on base coat and a coat of white polish (Sally Hansen White On) and stuck the little paper on with some tweezers before it dried. It lifts up really easily while it’s drying so just press and hold it down until it’s pretty much dry. Apply a topcoat to really seal the paper down. If your edges are kinda obvious, just fill it in with a few layers of white polish.
To color the logo in, I just used a small nail art brush and Essie Fishnet Stockings, Wet n Wild Black Creme, and Sally Hansen White On.
I think the process takes a while, but the end result is a lot neater looking than if you had freehanded it, so I think it’s worth it! Especially if you’re doing something precise like a logo.

juliegbrl-deactivated20131208: Hi girls! Can you make a tutorial for the flowers please? Sorry for my bad English I hope you understand... 😘

yes, of course! i’ll let you know when i make it haha. and don’t worry, your english is fine :)

Kylie Jenner inspired nails!
For my index and pinky fingers, I first did 3 coats of Essie Sugardaddy because I wanted a perfectly naked pink base for the “gooey” effect. Cutepolish has a great tutorial for the gooey effect technique if you’re interested! :)
My middle finger took the longest to do. I honestly spent hours contemplating whether or not I wanted to write the F-word, since Kylie Jenner had it on her nails, but I went with “gucci” in the end (I hope you can tell that that’s what it says LOLOL). I did the black border outline first with a striper so that I could see exactly how much room I had left to work with. To write the actual word, I used a toothpick in a stipling motion and then touched up with a striper.
I drew the X on my ring finger with a striper.
The white color used was OPI Alpine Snow, and the black color used was Sally Hansen Black Out.

Negative Space!
Sorry this isn’t my cleanest mani ever :( I used my non-dom hand for this and I wasn’t really sure how I was going to approach negative space nails in the first place LOL.
The pink, blue, and purple polishes used are Essie French Affair, Essie Borrowed & Blue, and Revlon Charming. The gold outlines were drawn with Julep Sienna. Looking back, I think these nails would have looked much better with thinner gold outlines.
The square glitters are from OPI Lights of Emerald City. I got a lot of bubbles from pushing the glitters around with the brush :( Thus, I’d recommend doing glitter placement with a dotting tool or something for chunky glitters like these LOL. Trial and error bby.

Leopard print & stripes. (Inspired by IG @chalkboardnails)
I feel like this is one of those manis that look slightly odd up close but really nice from far away as an “overall” look, ya know what I mean?
The nude base is Essie Topless & Barefoot, a really pretty pinky nude. I did the leopard spots with Essie Chinchilly. For the stripes, I used tape and then touched up with stripers to achieve a more cleaner look. The white is OPI Alpine Snow, and the black is Sally Hansen Black Out.
